5 reasons plumbing is better than hvac

When it comes to the skilled trades industry, two of the most common fields are plumbing and HVAC. Both fields involve working with pipes, but they have their differences. I have 1000 reasons why plumbing is better than HVAC but let's poke some fun at our fellow trades brothers and sisters with 5 reasons.

We’re basically water benders. What’s cooler than that?

2. Long standing legacy

Plumbing is an ancient profession dating back to Roman aqueducts. HVAC is new, at least compared to plumbing.

3. Defy gravity

As a plumber, we constantly defy gravity by directing water upwards. HVAC isn’t as cool.

4. Miracles of modern comfort

We provide hot water to the masses. An overlooked comfort, because if I want to keep my room cool I' could just crack open a window!

5. Complex calculations

Plumbing involves having a huge brain to process water pressure and different calculations for different projects.
