5 Ways to unclog a drain.guaranteed!

If you got guests coming over for the holidays and your drains need to be unclogged quickl, don’t use Coca-Cola or any other “secret” you might’ve come across. There are 5 main tools that you can use to fix that - and they may even be laying around your house,

  1. Hair Clog Drain Tool

Also known as a “snake” this is cheap tool that you can buy from any home goods store. It has teeth that you can use to stick down the drain, and pull out anything that is clogging it. You can also make it by using a zip tie and a pair of nail clippers.

  2. Remove The P-Trap

Sometimes, you can remove the P-Trap and remove whatever is clogging your drain. It’s really simple, and useful if you should ever need to remove something that you dropped into your sink. Check out my video here for a visual demonstration.

  3. Ol’ Fashioned Plunger

That’s right, a shallow plunger can do the trick.

  4. Top Sink Snake

This nifty device is a similar but more powerful alternative to option number one. It’ll come in handy for the times that the snake isn’t unclogging the drain by itself.

  5. Kinetic Water Ram

Now this is a fun one, because this machine pushes air into the drain to unclog it. But it’s very powerful, so make sure you know what you’re doing and where the water is going before you put it to use - otherwise, someone on the otherside of the toilet is getting a surprise.
