You DON'T Need College to Make $100k a Year

The trades, it's a little bit different. Some people believe they cannot get a good paying job without going to college and that is simply not true. There are an estimated 3 million unfilled positions, across all industries paying, just under, $60k on average each year; some with higher wages than others depending upon what your skill set entails - which would you rather have? College debt or no degree at all when starting out in life! Trades jobs offer a skill set that you can develop with your mind, hands and make money at. The best part about being in this industry is having open doors for business one day!

There's a lot of different things you can do in the construction trades. You can be a plumber, an electrician, an HVAC technician, a roofer, a carpenter, a welder, a pipe fitter, or an ironworker. Each trade has its own set of skills and training requirements, but they all have one thing in common: the potential to earn a good income.

Some of the highest paying trades?

Elevator Technicians:  $99,500

The elevator union is a great paying trade for a few reasons. First, most of the work is commercial, so you have a steadier stream of work than some other trades. Second, there is always a need for elevator repair and maintenance, so you can always find work if you're willing to travel. And finally, the pay is very good. Elevator technicians usually earn an hourly wage that is significantly higher than the average wage for other trades jobs. So if you're looking for a well-paying trade that offers steady work, the elevator union is a great option.

Electricians and Plumbers : $50,200 - $54,110

According to recent studies, electricians and plumbers are two of the highest-paid tradesmen in the United States. After all, they are responsible for keeping our homes and businesses running smoothly. However, what many people don't realize is that these two trades are actually quite close in terms of salary. In fact, a journeyman electrician and a journeyman plumber typically make about the same amount of money. While there may be more opportunity in electrical work due to the variety of fields it encompasses, both trades are essential to keeping our society running smoothly.

HVAC technician: $47,610

HVAC technicians keep our homes and businesses comfortable all year round. They're in high demand during the summer and winter months. Journeyman HVAC technicians can earn up to $30 an hour, and master HVAC technicians can earn even more. HVAC technicians install, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in homes and commercial buildings.

So which trade is the best paying? The answer is simple: whichever trade you love the most. If you enjoy what you're doing, you'll be motivated to learn more and become the best at it. And that's where the real money is made. So if you're thinking about a career in the  trades, find the one that you love and go for it.

You can get into the trades and become just as successful - if not more successful - than someone with a college degree. And the best part is, you can actually move up the ladder in the trades and end up making more money than somebody with a college degree. If you're willing to work hard and learn new skills, you can move up quickly and become a foreman, superintendent, project manager, or even director of operations. And if you're really ambitious, you might even start your own company one day. The moral of the story is that college isn't the only path to success. The trades can provide you with an excellent foundation for a rewarding career.
