Having clean, safe water is important to keeping your family safe. From drinking, cleaning, and maintaining your appliances, some homes deal with hard, dirty water that affects sanitation and health. The quality of your water filtration system helps in keeping your water clean. The problem is, most homeowners don’t know where to look or which system suits them best.

I’m Roger Wakefield, and in this post, we will show you how the Halo Hybrid Water Filtration System can help you provide clean, sanitary water, why it is unique, and a step-by-step on how it works – optimizing your search!

What is the Halo Hybrid Water Filtration System?

Imagine yourself bathing in bottled water; that’s what the Halo Hybrid system is like!

The Halo Hybrid is a multi-technology, whole-house water filtration and softening system in one, easy-to-install tank! It is designed to remove chlorine, chloramines, VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds), and heavy metals, to provide you and your family with cleaner water.

Key Features:

The Halo HAC removes contaminants through its activated carbon absorption process, removing impurities and improving water quality.

This process helps in softening water by removing minerals (such as calcium and magnesium) that lead to scale buildup and hard water.

Compared to other water filtration systems, the Halo Hybrid is eco-friendly and low-maintenance. It also has a 10-year warranty, which assures its plumber-approved quality.

Benefits of Installing the Halo Hybrid

Hybrid Halo Water Filtration System Installation

The Hybrid Halo system is easy to install and intuitive. Install it once, and you will have a working, long-lasting filtration system. It is recommended to hire a licensed plumber for installation to avoid any leaks and faulty setups, to keep the warranty valid.

Here are the easy steps to install the Hybrid Halo in your home:

1. Select the Right Location

Choose a spot on the main water line before it branches to appliances or faucets. Make sure there’s enough space for the tank and easy access for future maintenance.

2. Shut Off the Water To The Filter

Turn off the home’s main water supply that connects to the existing water filter. This will allow you to work on the installation while still providing water to the whole house.

3. Connect the System

Attach the inlet port of the Halo system to the main line’s incoming water side, and the outlet port to the downstream line. Ensure the direction of flow matches the arrows on the unit. Hook the filtration and the softener plug tied in.

4. Add the Salt Water Pellets

Salt Water Pellets will function as the water softener in the filtration system. Pour the salt pellets and add 3 gallons of water into the brine tank.

5. Turn the Water back on and pressurize the System

Turn the water that connects to the filtration system back on. Check all connections for leaks. Turn the system on so it can be pressurized. Once the system is fully pressurized, hit the “Regen” button for 3 seconds until you can hear the motor running.

6. Clean the System

You can clean the system by flushing it out. You can do this by turning on a faucet until the water becomes clear, which is an indicator that everything is good to go.

7. Set the Hardness

You can set the hardness or softness of your water on the system by pressing the Up and Down buttons to your desired outcome.

8. Final Setup

Once flushed, your system is ready to provide filtered, conditioned water throughout your home.
